Mohsin Raza is enrolled as an industrial Doctoral student at the research school Innofacture at the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering at Mälardalen University. Moshin has a background in Materials Science and Metallurgy involving the materials processing techniques. He has worked several years in the steel industry and started his career in research after completing his MSc degree in Materials Processing at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in 2012. As part of his PhD studies he has participated in Swedish and European research projects mainly focused on process development for investment cast thin-walled components for gas turbines. He is currently working on methods to overcome effect of surface tension in thin-walled sections.
Mohsin's research is focused on process development for manufacturing of thin-walled components for gas turbines.
