The 5th Participatory Innovation Conference (PIN-C) wa organized on 11-13th January 2018 at Mälardalen University, Sweden (MDH).
PIN-C was established by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), with the goal of creating a truly interdisciplinary forum for innovation research. The trademark of the conference is that it brings together research disciplines that otherwise only seldom meet in dedicated tracks throughout the conference. And that it does so in an active, participatory format.
Conference host was the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering, and more specific the research profie Innovation and Product Realization (IPR) at MDH. The research profile IPR contributes to a sustainable future development and industrial renewal by building on a holistic perspective that takes account of people, systems and global challenges in research and education. IPR is constituted mainly of four research teams: Information Design, Product and Production Development, Workplace Innovation and Quality Management, and Foresight and Value Driven Innovation, which contribute to the research.
