Description

We are proud to invite you, in conjunction with Markus Wallmyr's licentiate seminar, to an open seminar with the grading committee members Stefan Holmlid, Hannu Kukka and Carina Söderlund on challenges and opportinities in doing design research with industry. Interaction design research is practice based and but also has to relate to software engineering processess and the engineering epistemology, especially in research co-production. Because of the focus on co-production in research funding both nationally –at least in Sweden– and on EU-level, we will discuss the issues and challenges in doing design research with industry.

Each committee members will present their view on the subject and then we will have plenty of time to discuss the topic.
